The 2020 election was a failure for Texas Democratic Party; the 2022 election was even worse. What do Democrats need to do in Texas to win?

I was a precinct chair during the primary between Hillary and Barack. The precinct didn't have a chair or election judge. I asked and was appointed to both. I got NO support from anyone. I had to figure it out as I went along, reading stuff on the internet. Not one phone call or offer of education or support.
The precinct voted R in the previous elections so by the rules the R party had control, they had simply ignored the position until a D got it. Boom! I was replaced by a Republican. Come election day the SOB couldn't even find the polling place! It was 20 minutes late opening. The next election the SOB violated more than one polling place laws--electioneering boundaries, electioneering in the polling place electronic devices in the polling place.
We need support and education from the National Party because the State and County party apparatus does not exist. We're out here on our own.

Representative-elect Mano DeAyala's comments are the latest to come to light of Texas state legislators who have publicly called to BAN DEMOCRAT COMMITTEE CHAIRS. Thank you, Rep-Elect DeAyala!
HELP ADD MORE NAMES
But we need MORE names on this list, and we need your help to make it happen. We only have a month left to gather supporthelp us reach more legislators.
BAN DEM CHAIRS
Ban Democrat Chairs is a top legislative priority. Last session, three GOP priority bills died in committees chaired by Democrats.
Business & Industry Committee Chair, Democrat Rep. Chris Turner, killed a religious freedom bill, HB 1569.
Public Education Committee Chair, Democrat Rep. Harold Dutton, killed a School Choice bill, HB 4537.
Criminal Jurisprudence Committee Chair, Democrat Rep. Nicole Collier, killed the strongest bill to protect our historic monuments, HB 446, which would have increased criminal penalties for damaging or destroying monuments.
SAVE GOP PRIORITIES
We only have until early January to gain support before the Texas House of Representatives adopts formal rules in one of their first meetings.
Heres what we need you to do:
Step 1) Call your State Representative; a phone call is more effective than an email. If you don't know who your Representative is or their phone number, click here.
Step 2) Urge them to release a public statement (tweet, facebook post, mass email, or press release) supporting House Rules that ban Committee Chairs of the minority party. If they have already made a public statement banning Democrat Committee Chairs, thank them.
EXTRA CREDIT: Use the hashtag #NoDemChairs on social media to encourage your friends to call and keep track of who has made statements as well!
Chairing a committee allows a Democrat to single-handedly block legislation from passing and provides them the power to push their far-left radical agenda. We cant let that happencontact your legislators today!

(6,341 posts)Those darn Democrats did all that? Let's see what they did.
1) they stopped the rethugs and asshats from using religion as an excuse to be dickwads to anyone they don't like.
2) they stopped rethugs and asshats from being able to use public school money to fund private indoctrination centers which do not teach anything but conformity and rethug worship.
3) they stopped the rethugs and asshats from protecting monuments to racism and classism which are there solely to remind the peons who is in power.
HOW FREAKING HORRIFYING!
