Ad by Larry Veselka-Houston Chronicle got it wrong about County Judge Lina Hidalgo

A ton of TFG supporters are contributing a ton of money to Judge Hidalgo's GOP opponent. Larry is one of the top attorneys in Texas and is a good guy. Larry was one of the attorneys who defended the drive through voting program used in the 2020 election.

They teamed up with Harris County Sherrifs Dept. for a little voter intimidation within the mile100 ft marker line. Went inside to get the presiding judge and by the time she came out some of the deputies had left and but one of their HCSD SUV was still blocking the curbside voting drive. After a while they did leave too.
Alexandria Mealer (Hidalgo’s opponent) also had a guy there talking to the deputies who was wearing a blue t-shirt with white letters that said simply “Police”. That caught my attention but when he turned around the backs said “Alex Police” and her campaign website address at the bottom. Again, this group was doing voter suppression inside the 100 ft. marker. When I got back with the judge, the deputies had left and the guy with the T-shirt was now outside the 100 ft. marker zone.

But they kept having their people fill up or block the curbside voting drive. The poor judge was doing the best she could but she was short staffed so couldn’t assign anyone to stay outside. I did what I could to help, but remember, I’m not allowed to talk to voters. All I could do was report stuff to her.

All the workers inside did their jobs and there was no problem, that I saw with either parties election workers. Only saw one old white guy that got nasty inside, because he claimed there was a problem With a particular machine and he wanted it taken offline.
