on the patio of Fort Worth's Flying Saucer with a huge crowd in attendance. A loud crowd !
Beto could barely speak after 3 hard days of campaigning in DFW but we did not care.
He went blockwalking, held a rally Sunday night in Fort Worth. On Monday he spent an hour at several early voting sites (in the pouring rain) in Dallas, Collin and Denton counties. Every one of those events drew large crowds. These folks also voted.
Tuesday he did the same thing in Tarrant county, then did Joy's show. If you watch the You Tube videos you can hear his voice deteriorate! I went to one of his voting site rallies near my house, then downtown to Joy's show.
This is the hardest working candidate I have ever seen and I am 24 hours from turning 74. Having his extraordinary energy and passion in Austin will be a huge breath of fresh air for Texas.
If you have not voted, get out there and gather a crowd of friends to join you; then go out to celebrate voting. Then help this campaign in any way you can. The folks at your county headquarters will have something for you to do.
Remember to mark every Democrat on your ballot! We no longer have Straight Ticket voting so you have to hit every single one. Give Beto as many Democrats as possible in the Texas Legislature, and a Lt Governor who will not obstruct the Senate. Boost the Democratic presence in your local government. Elect the state wide commissioners.
We can do this, because when we vote, we win.
