State of Texas: 'This is not going to end' - battles ahead in post-Roe Texas - KXAN

TEXAS AFTER ROE – The SCOTUS decision overturning Roe v. Wade is already having a big impact in Texas. Daniel Marin reports on the state’s trigger law, and efforts to help women facing unexpected pregnancies. We also speak with State Sen. Bryan Hughes, an east Texas Republican who helped craft the trigger law legislation. Hughes talks about further anti-abortion measures state lawmakers could consider. And UT law professor Elizabeth Sepper gives insight about the impact on Texas women, and why the state may be ill-prepared for how the ruling could put pressure on the state’s social services.
