so I've seen it transform from a community of 9,000 to a suburb of more than 70,000. There were proposals to bring in rail a few years ago that would run from Georgetown to San Antonio. It came with a large price tag, but if it had been approved it would probably be running now or in the too distant future. It was a missed opportunity considering that the area will continue growing. As far as Georgetown is concerned, I can see some of the traffic heading east instead of south since the new Samsung microchip factory is being built in Taylor.

At least Leander voted to stay in CapMetro so commuters can get on the train. I realize that is only a minor dent in the traffic situation though.
