About this event
Since 2001, when the United Nations General Assembly adopted June 20th as World Refugee Day, communities and refugee organizations across the U.S. and in Tennessee have commemorated this day as a day honoring the strength and courage of refugees and encouraging public awareness and support for refugees across the globe.

Join us for this year's annual World Refugee Day for an evening of story-telling, performances, and celebration of our refugee communities.

This is a celebration hosted by the Tennessee Immigrant & Refugee Rights Coalition (TIRRC), Nashville International Center for Empowerment (NICE), Catholic Charities, Inspiritus, American Muslim Advisory Council (AMAC), Tennessee Justice For Our Neighbors (TNJFON), Tenx9 Nashville, Metro Human Relations Commission, United Way of Greater Nashville, Siloam Health, TN Office of Faith-Based and Community Engagement, Mayor's Office of New Americans, Nashville Refugee & Immigrant Collective, Community Resource Center, Bethany Christian Services, Tennessee Resettlement Aid, Tennessee Office for Refugees, and The Horn Coffee!"
