Hillary Clinton ‘Forward Together’ campaign bus makes way through South Carolina

COLUMBIA — The Hillary Clinton campaign’s bus tour stopped in Columbia Monday morning as supporters make their way across the country.

The “Forward Together” bus stopped at the South Carolina Statehouse on Monday before swinging through the state and heading to Georgia later this afternoon. It is one of two buses touring the country urging voters to cast their ballots for former Secretary of State Clinton.

“The 2016 South Carolina Democratic Party theme is ‘enough is enough,’ and that’s at both the state and national level,” said party First Vice Chair Kaye Koonce of Charleston. “I’m incredibly proud to support our presidential candidate. I’ve been looking forward to voting for her for president for a very long time.”

The bus was scheduled to stop at the Richland County Elections Commission — to allow those who needed to vote absentee — and at Columbia College and South Carolina State University, both historically black colleges and universities.
