To all coastal SC DU Members

Please take care, in case the forecasts are correct and Irma will be visiting. We don't know yet how strong this storm will be after visiting Florida. I hope everyone turns out to be safe and sound.

Me - well, I checked my evacuation zone, and it is still true that I live where all you coastal folks will be evacuated to! So, I'm stocking up on a few things, and charging up all my portable power, so I can at least use my cellphone.

Should I stay or should I go at the moment.

5:00 update just changed things radically for us. We're packed and ready to head up to Augusta or points west on I 20, now it looks like she is heading that way.

Do you know? We have family there so I always try to keep an eye out.

Glad you're in a safe zone!

Something between a category 1 hurricane and a tropical storm. That means no electricity for a week. Phooey!

But as of this morning, it looks headed that way more than at Hilton Head.

We are waiting to see when we will be released from work. We have 3 in the house working in areas proving essential service. That said, we have passes to return early as well.

But we are evaluating and watching, last moment decision at best.
