Democrats bringing popular actress to central Pa. to campaign for Kamala Harris
Some Hollywood star power is headed to Lancaster County to campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris.
According to the campaign, actress Jennifer Garner will be in the county on Friday to tout Harris’ New Way Forward agenda to “lower costs and strengthen Pennsylvanians’ freedoms.”
Garner, Lancaster Mayor Danene Sorace and other officials will contrast Harris’ plans with that of Project 2025, a playbook for former President Donald Trump — created by the ultra-conservative Heritage Foundation — to remake the federal government.
Trump and his campaign have tried to distance him from Project 2025, but he has praised the initiative in the past and CNN determined that there are nearly 250 people connected to both him and Project 2025, including six of his former Cabinet members.
