PA Registration Question

My nephew and grandaughter, both new voters this election. registered to vote. In fact, I sat with my grandaughter to help her through the online sign up. All looked good to go, that it went through and she was registered.

My nephew's dad, my brother (a trumper) had initially helped him register but ran into a problem. Though he has liberal views he isn't political and hates that his dad watches FOX propaganda every day so he's kind of sick of politics, but still eager to vote. Via text today he said "It's all good".

I went to pa.gov to confirm registrations for both of them. Using accurate information (I made sure) I got the message: "We are unable to match your information with our records. You may edit your information and try your search again or you may contact your county voter registration office to confirm your voter registration status."

Could this be because they are new voters? I tried calling the county office but it's closed for the day, but that aside, will the office allow me to confirm the status on their behalf?

I would call my county election office and speak to someone directly. The good thing about Pa. Is that there is still enough time to straighten things out.

I've been here almost 5 years and it's always been a very easy system to navigate, even when we first registered. I'd call your local election office for your county. I had to help a friend who moved here from Texas two years ago just this week because she forgot to fill out her yearly mail in vote application.
