Thank Toomey

This morning I sent Toomey thanks for doing the right thing. Yes, I know he’s not running agin, so who cares, but I think it’s important to provide positive reinforcement when a politician does the right thing and I also hope that the Republicans censuring him hear that he’s getting supportive messages from Pennsylvania voters.

I emailed him on Saturday right after the vote. Made sure he knew l am a democrat. Hope more Pennsylvanians did the same.

Even got back the 'Thank you' that they send out every time you submit something.
I will confess - it was the first "nice" one I've ever sent the guy!

I wrote about my grievances on a regular basis.

It was the least I could do when he actually did the right thing.

how crazy is it that after 4 years of fighting with the guy you feel like you have to stand up to 'defend' him from the crazies that are going to censure him? What kind of crazy time are we living in?
