PA looking for an additional 10,000 poll workers

in addition to the 35,000 they already have.

There was no link at the article on how to apply, but I would recommend contacting your county elections bureau to find out how to apply.

I was a poll worker for 4 years. It was a long day, but a lot of fun that left you feeling good about doing a necessary civic duty. Highly recommended!

some kind of community service credit, or extra credit of some kind for those students to work the polls?

One of the polling places I use is a local public k-8 school. There are always a couple of students there helping out, well guided by adults. I just love seeing the kids, because they get a close-up look at voting.
