Pa. Gov. Tom Wolf says he's got nothing to hide on pipeline permitting
Gov. Tom Wolf said Wednesday he has nothing to hide when it comes to his support for or actions behind the state’s permitting of two controversial pipelines that have been faulted for a variety of water contamination and other problems since construction launched in 2017.
He also said that he welcomes investigations because if other people within his administration broke rules without his knowledge, they should be held to account.
“I pay my own way. I give my salary to charity. I mean, openness and transparency and integrity is absolutely important to me," Wolf told reporters after a visit to an aquaponics faciilty at Cedar Cliff High School on Cumberland County’s West Shore.
"So, I welcome anybody to look at what’s going on in the administration. And if something’s not right, then people should be held to account.”
