The Grange...

I've been seeing these ads on TV and the whole thing seems a little suspect. Sure they are giving money to schools and they are going to create 2000 jobs with health care benefits - but wouldn't the state get the same result if another company like Intel set up business here? Any thoughts?

to "get" that it wasn't a really great community center. For a brief flash, I was wishing it was on MY side of the mountains.

Misleading advertising, to say the least.

there was from a study modeling the effect of their slot machines on the lottery. the study had the amount of slots as a variable, and the more slot machines they put in, the less the state makes overall. now i'm not a big fan of lotto, but it does bring in much-needed revenue.

i'm not seeing any up-side to "the grange" compared to the tribal casinos.
