Pressure builds for Nathan Boddie to quit Oregon House race

Democrat Nathan Boddie's bid to succeed Rep. Knute Buehler in the Oregon Legislature appears to be unraveling amid growing calls for him to drop out in the wake of sexual misconduct allegations.

Boddie's hometown newspaper, The Bend Bulletin, published an editorial saying he could best serve his community by stepping aside.

Gov. Kate Brown joined other officials who have called for Boddie to resign in a Monday evening statement from her campaign.

"We are hearing more and more troubling allegations," Brown said. "Time's up."
