Wonder how much damage fracking will cause before someone decides it might be a bad thing for the environment, as well as people's homes?

This morning at approximately 3:50 a.m. There was a boom similar to a small explosion or sound barrier breakage and a slight shuddering of the ground. Anyone else experience that in north central Oklahoma? I am hypothesizing that increased fracking is occurring in this area but looking for validations of the events by others.
