70 yr old man says "shut up" to cop. Result: 2 weeks in hospital with head injuries. Vietnamese community upset

cop slams his head to the ground. writes it up as "I observed man was unconscious"

Police officer used reasonable force to deal with the threat to his feelings!

Great write up though - subject was found to be unconscious.

Next write up - 3 police officers shoot an unarmed civilian - subject seen bleeding profusely from bullet wounds, source of bullets not known.

I guess sparring with fellow police officers in the gym with soft mats and slamming them to the ground does no harm.
A 70 year old on the roadway though, might do some damage.

I bet that isn't in the training manual.
