former deputy faked chase of a 'black male with a long gun". even shot at the imaginary "black male"

summary. Drove 100 miles down a dirt road while breathlesly calling for backup. Jumped of car and ran after imaginary black male. Fired shots at imaginary black male while yelling "shots fired shots fired.. show me your hands".

investigation, including video showed no dust trail of another car, bullet casings were only his.
