Oklahoma senator calls LGBTQ+ 'filth' when asked about Nex Benedict

An Oklahoma state senator is being quoted as calling the LGBTQ+ community "filth" and saying the people in his district don't want them in the state.
"I represent a constituency that doesn't want that filth in Oklahoma," Sen. Tom Woods, R-Westville, was quoted by a newspaper as saying during a legislative forum Friday sponsored by the Tahlequah Area Chamber of Commerce.

3. Oklahoma was, at one time, never like this, and this so called representative, only 28 years, claims that he knows

the LBGTQ community and calls them all sorts of hurtful names.

How does he know this community, and how dare he speak this way about this community in OK that he knows nothing about?

He's a despicable human being and belongs in those lumped together in the same category as Hitler.

Sounds like to me that he needs to be charged w/ a hate crime. His statements could led to gays being harmed in OK.
