Ohio AG Dave Yost to Costco: Drop your diversity programs or else

Source-https://www.beaconjournal.com/story/news/politics/2025/01/28/ohio-attorney-general-dave-yost-pressures-costco-to-drop-dei/77998964007/

snip-"Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost joined 18 other Republican state attorneys general to push Costco Wholesale to abandon its diversity, equity, and inclusion policies, citing concerns about discrimination and legal risks.

In a letter sent to Costco CEO Ron Vachris, the attorneys general demanded that within 30 days, the popular retailer repeal its DEI policies or explain why it hasn't.

Although Costco’s motto is 'do the right thing,' it appears that the company is doing the wrong thing — clinging to DEI policies that courts and businesses have rejected as illegal," the letter said. "Costco should treat every person equally and based on their merit, rather than based on divisive and discriminatory DEI practices."

snip-"Yost, who is term limited from seeking another turn as Ohio AG, announced he's running for governor in 2026. Yost is expected to face competition in the GOP primary."

Did private businesses lose the ability to establish their own policies and procedures?

I finally found a ball small enough that she can actually get it in her mouth and she spent her first few minutes with it barking, growling at it and running circles around it. You can imagine how funny that was.

I don't think she's even seen a ball before. She's eleven weeks old today. I'm not sure that she knows her name yet but we're working on it. Pomeranians are so smart and easy to train.

I'm going to have a hard time not spoiling her though. She's so darn cute. She's definitely claimed me as her person. She sleeps on my chest over my heart and of course I let her. She's probably going to grow out of that. So, I'm enjoying puppy time as much as possible since she's probably my last dog to raise.

She's really helped me with my grief. Of course, I still miss my other two babies beyond words. But I'm trying hard to stay in the now.

❤️

In a lot of ways. Her pounces and leaps are just hilarious.

I am particularly in awe of how such a precious creature can be so small and have all of the necessary working parts. Her teeth and nails are really, really small but no less sharp, that's for sure.

Companies are subject to that. The government has now redefined racism to mean white males aren’t getting preferential treatment

As a resident of Greene County, and a proud supporter of reality, I would ask you to immediately go fuck yourself in the butt with a rusty nail, and then mind your own goddamned business.

P.S. David your slip is showing. You have too many skeletons in your closet to be talking shit.

You are the personification of a weenie gone wild.

Sit down, and shut up.

Loser.

Christ, I can't believe I have to remind you.

"Dont we want a country based on merit and not skin color?"

"Merit" can and does and will occur in any human.
