snip-"The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) will waive all fares on Election Day on Tuesday.

The waiver applies to all COTA fixed-route buses, COTA Mainstream, Mainstream On-Demand and COTA//Plus, the organization said in a press release, encouraging voters to find their polling location on the Franklin County Board of Elections website and plan their trip ahead of time.

Travelers can plan their routes at COTA.com or by using the Transit app on their smartphones, COTA said. Customers can also get help planning their trip by calling COTA Customer Care at (614) 228-1776. Call Center hours are from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, and absentee ballots not postmarked by Monday must be received by county boards of election by 7:30 on Election Day. Voters must turn these in to the county board, not at individual polling places.
