Ohio Governor John Kasich delivered his final State of the State address Tuesday night

from the campus of Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio, his adopted hometown.

The speech was broadcast live on C-Span and Ohio Public Radio, and will likely be rebroadcast on C-Span later in the week.
It was a speech filled with philosophical and theological references and names - Jean Paul Sartre, Nietzsche, Thomas Aquinas, and on this account I wandered away and didn't catch the entire text.
He said it would be an "odd" speech, and it was.
He reminisced about his life and his time in office, but offered no hints as to his future plans.
