Long lines as Ohio casts ballots, but battle for nation is elsewhere

The last weekend of early voting in close-fought Ohio came with high-profile rallies and long queues to cast ballots. But it lacked the traditional fervor of a state typically on the front line of the electoral battle for the country's future.

Hillary Clinton joined with some of hip-hop's biggest stars Friday night to gin up enthusiasm and push supporters to vote early. But her backers still fretted.

Donald Trump supporters didn't get a free concert, but they did revel in a rollicking afternoon Friday with their biggest celebrity of all: Trump himself.

Ohio is a state Trump needs to win but Clinton apparently can afford to lose – an unusual position for a state that has called the presidential race in every election since 1960. Instead, the candidates are battling over other states this year.
