Hillary Clinton returning to Ohio on Monday, Bill Clinton to stump eastern Ohio on Tuesday and Wed.

After an absence of nearly a month, Hillary Clinton is returning to Ohio on Monday - although the location and time has not been specified.

The following two days, her campaign is trotting out her husband to counter a push by Donald Trump to pick off traditional Democratic voters in the Mahoning Valley and Appalachia.

Clinton was facing criticism - such as an editorial from the Blade of Toledo - as well as jibes from the Trump campaign for her long absence from one of the nation's top battleground states. Her last visit to Ohio was on Labor Day, Sept. 5, when she struggled to finish an outdoors speech due to frequent coughing attacks.

Bill Clinton will campaign for his wife in a two-day "Stronger Together" bus tour on Tuesday and Wednesday.

She does need to get back to Ohio. But she's still been very strong on-air. And that's in Cincinnati, where 1/3 of our viewers reside in non-competitive KY and IN. If we're getting a strong run of ads here, markets with 100% or close to that of viewers in Ohio - like Columbus, Cleveland, Dayton, Toledo - have surely been seeing her messaging.

Nothing beats in person though, so welcome back Madame Secretary and Big Dawg.
