(116,809 posts)about medical marijuana considering the opioid addiction crisis occurring nationwide. Fortunately lawmakers in a number of states are realizing that people need help with pain relief and the relative harm caused my marijuana is far less than what occurs with pharmaceutical medication and street drugs such as heroin.

(5,196 posts)It's linked to a 2014 federal law called ABLE.
Family member has 2 very small retirement accounts which currently make her ineligible for Medicaid, which she will need indefinitely because of her disabilities.
As I read of this new program, called Stable Accounts, she may be able to keep her IRAs and still be eligible for Medicaid.
Have to follow-up.
