He wants to know if he can register and vote in the Primary tomorrow...I thought the deadline was Feb. 16th. Anyone know? Thanks

(18,133 posts)you might check with a local judge... sometimes you can get a special ballot... i did this once years ago when i moved

(3,033 posts)The judge agreed with them on Friday, Ohio AG Husted (R), didn't appeal, probably because it was way too late for the 17 y.o.'s to vote in the Primary. I'm wondering if he's got time to appeal after tomorrow's primary to block the General from the 17 y.o's.
The kid across the road really really wants to vote, but he'll have to wait until the General. He'll be 18 in October and eligible, if Husted can't/doesn't take it back to court. He can register anytime between now and the deadline for the General, even though he's not 18.

(18,133 posts)i would check with a local office for Sanders campaign and a local progressive democratic judge. it seems to me that having won the suit, there should be a way for them to vote in the primary
