Early voting in the May 5 primary election starts today (April 7) at the Lorain County Board of Elections offices, 1985 North Ridge Road in Sheffield Township.

Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays April 7 to April 24, with extended hours the week of April 27 to May 1.

Voters must provide valid, unexpired photo ID to vote early as well as on Election Day.
