my wife and I voted this morning. relief!!! about the process...

we voted early at a library in a small western NC town a few miles down the road from us, Etowah. Showed up at 10:30, good sized line, moved slow but it is a beautiful day, so no worries. No riff raff around. 80 percent of those in line masked, 3 groups if 3 or 4 not, clearly the "covid is a hoax" flavor of voter.

Reached the ballot desk 45 min later. No ID needed...gave the fellow my name, he ashed me my address, got the ballot. Voted on a touch screen machine, recorded my choices correctly, printed out paper which upon checking was accurate, slipped it into the reader. We drove off an hour after arriving.

Now the last 2 weeks of waiting begins!

Lots of pleasant volunteers working at the site. Smooth process.
