ASHEVILLE - A local member of the Aryan Brotherhood, a white supremacist gang, has been sentenced to over 13 years in prison for drug trafficking charges, according to a press release from the Department of Justice.
Jonathan Ray Adams, 34, of Asheville, trafficked methamphetamine from Atlanta, Georgia to Western North Carolina from at least January-May 2019, the U.S. District Court concluded. Adams also went by the alias Jon Boy, the release said.
Adams and co-defendant Linda Suzanne Higgins are "avowed members of the Aryan Brotherhood" and distributed the drugs to networks in Buncombe and Henderson Counties, the release said, among them other members of the Aryan Brotherhood.
During the investigation into Adams, federal and local law enforcement seized a portion of a 38 ounce shipment of methamphetamine in Buncombe County and a portion of a 10 ounce shipment of methamphetamine in Henderson County, according to the DOJ.

They will have good company and some great gang action in prison though.
