Black Male Empowerment Summit is Saturday at N.C. A&T University tomorrow

The first Black Male Empowerment Summit, Developing Men of Distinction to Achieve Excellence, will take place from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Saturday at N.C. A&T University.

The summit will cover topics centered on manhood, motivation and resilience, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, networking and professional success. It will give young men of color the chance to network and discuss leadership, professional achievement, personal development and civic engagement.

Speakers are Ocoszio Jackson, president of the Black Graduate & Professional Students Association at Duke University, and Frankie T. Jones, Jr., a partner at Smith Moore Leatherwood, LLP.

The free event includes panel discussions, workshops and lunch.
