Sylvan Heights Bird Park to host first-ever 'Flock Party' festival this May

Sylvan Heights Assistant Educator Kat Lewandowski and a baby Sebastopol Goose joined us in the studio this morning to talk about the park’s newest spring event, Flock Party.
The Flock Party festival on May 16th is a family and community-oriented event for everyone.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., there will be games, animal encounters, STEM activities, a food truck, and more.

A membership at Sylvan Heights will not only get you into their park for a year but also the North Carolina Zoo, NC Raptor Center and the WNC Nature Center for a year.
