Few people wearing masks when I'm out shopping.
At least he's not De Santis I guess

(25,483 posts)It's not uncommon to see click bait headlines and by actually posting some of the governor's own words it gives us a chance to form our own opinions.
Thanks in Advance!

(2,000 posts)And this is a purple state. And we're surrounded by states with high covid numbers.
Lots of us know what to do, but many won't do it until it's mandatory, some not even then.
He should not have let the mask mandate expire. I'm disappointed in him for this.

(25,483 posts)Because of gerrymandering our votes as Democrats didn't carry the weight they would have otherwise. It's a sad state of affairs.
I suspect that many of the Independent voters may lean toward the Libertarian side, too.
We're very fortunate to have Governor Cooper. He was a great Attorney General for NC and all things considered, I think he's doing a great job as Governor.
Of course, with our current problems seemingly never-ending, it's not hard to see how some are having trouble finding solace.
We just need to hold on to the future being a better time and keep the faith.
