Actions like this are one of the main reasons that people become so cynical
regarding anything political. For people like myself that have always defended our nation as being an example of goodness and glad to contribute my hard-earned tax dollars to support those efforts - I have come to the conclusion that I have been delusional.
America is all about one thing and one thing only - money. Sure we have high ideals in some circles, but they always succumb to the influence of power and wealth.
POTUS Trump is a poster child for the America I have seen for the last 60 years. And Texas (my home state) reflects that philosophy every single stinking day.
Thank God I drink!
