New Video: This is the NYC Wildfire Haze.
A skyline blurred and enshrouded - complete with a sickening acrid smell - from fires induced by our abuse of the planet. But the fires are 2500 miles away, in Oregon and California.

(25,901 posts)We are about 40 miles as the crow flies from huge wildfires in Washington - and no smoke here at all (this time...have been there done that frighteningly before)!!
EPA has a really good app to find out severity and health impacts of smoke in locations you select. AirNOW.
Stay safe, everyone!!
