DECs urine vandal is on probation
The fellow who left 40 containers of human waste at the Department of Environmental Conservations headquarters building has pleaded guilty to criminal mischief and is on probation.
Here is my story which appeared earlier in the online TU:
The former night-shift cleaner who had placed containers of urine and feces throughout the fourth floor of the state Department of Environmental Conservations headquarters building on 625 Broadway has pleaded guilty to felony criminal mischief and will pay restitution of $2,600, according to a memo obtained by the Times Union.
Clifford S. Davidson, 33, will also be on probation for three years, said the internal memo released earlier in September from Mark Cadrette, director of the Office of Employee Relations at DEC.
Additionally, security guards in the building have been told of the plea and they will keep a photo of Davidson at their desks.
State Police arrested Davidson in the summer of 2016 after matching him through DNA evidence and finding a National Grid bill in one of the 40 containers of urine and feces he had placed above the ceiling tiles on the buildings fourth floor.
