Saratoga Springs -- Another spray-painted swastika, this one just off the Spring Run trail on an entrance to a culvert, has been found in the Spa City.
Two walkers, who want to remain anonymous, found the Nazi symbol on Friday and immediately reported it to Saratoga Springs police. This is the second one found in the city in two weeks. Both were sketched in red.
"By it's very nature, it's hard to track down who is doing this without tips from the public or video surveillance," police spokesman Lt. Bob Jillson said. "These are very difficult to solve. At this point, we don't have any solid leads."
The first was discovered on Nov. 14 in a crosswalk on Granger Avenue that leads into East Side Recreational Park. Both have since been scrubbed and painted over by the Department of Public Works.
