Cuomo to headline state Senate Democratic fundraiser
Gov. Andrew Cuomo will headline later this month a fundraiser for the state Senate Democratic Campaign Committee in Manhattan.
The Oct. 25 event is to be held at the Kimpton Hotel Eventi in Manhattan. Tickets are $1,000 and up. $25,000 buys admission to a special “Chairs Reception” with Cuomo.

Cuomo’s appearance is noteworthy given his decent working relationship with Senate Republicans, who blessed in this year’s state budget a $15 minimum wage increase and paid family leave plan despite opposition from their usual backers. He also has a penchant touting kumbayas between the Democratically led Assembly and Republican-led Senate on an array of issues during his tenure as governor.
