Why does this teacher think he deserves special treatment? We also live in Albuquerque. I understood that if the teacher had an underlying condition or had not yet completed both vaccines, they could postpone in person learning. Our two high school age granddaughters live with us. They are going back to in person learning on April 5, even though they graduate (twins) on May 15. They have a relationship with the teachers there and this will be their last chance to see them in person in a classroom setting before they graduate. On the other hand my other granddaughter, a freshman, who attends the same school will remain in virtual learning. The school is giving the parents a choice. This teacher was WAY out of line for promoting his personal political view.
