Anti-abortion, pro-gun

“After leaving his position as chief meteorologist in Albuquerque on Monday, Mark Ronchetti announced (he) is vying for the GOP nomination (for U.S. Senate) ...”
(KRQE-tv noon news said Ronchetti will run on a pro-life, pro-2nd amendment platform)

Weatherman Turns Politico; All Wet Or Sunny Skies Ahead?

https://joemonahansnewmexico.blogspot.com/2020/01/weatherman-turns-politico-all-wet-or.html

Dem Chris Catecheis joked:
"Why would he quit a job where he could be wrong 80% of the time and still stay employed, just to run for the senate?"

Don't expect the other GOP candidates to yield to him. That means the R's March pre-primary convention is pivotal.

That convention will place candidates on the June primary ballot. If a contender doesn't get 20 percent of delegate support, he doesn't get an official ballot spot and would have to file additional petition signatures to make the ballot. However, failing to get 20 percent at the convention dries up the money and is almost always the death knell for a candidacy.

Watch out, if you are anywhere between a fetus and a gun, you are fair game because liberty freedom and the difference between the two is the point!

Go, go, go FETUS! Go, go, go GUN! FETUS! GUN! FETUS! GUN! Yaaaaaay. Nice to see that the solutions to modern life can be so simple.

Oh, you do have to keep it simple for horses that are led to the water but don't know what drinking it is about.

and have heard him on TV. He might have been a fine weatherman but there is NO WAY I would support him for Senator. I doubt that I am the only one who feels this way. When he is defeated (and I predict he will be), should be return to broadcasting, I will make sure to watch another station.

KOAT channel 7 evening news said Mark Ronchetti has yet to file the proper paperwork to run,
and has no money in a campaign fund.

How does a local TV weatherman think he's got the 'right stuff' to be a U.S. Senator?
