(3,857 posts)I'm at the Jersey Shore (Monmouth County). I will say the nature around here is pretty incredible. We do have the Count Basie Center which brings a good bit of music and theatre performances to Red Bank. For museums, I head to NYC. (Although, I will say the Art Museum at Princeton University is packed with some amazing art. Unfortunately, right now, it's closed for renovations.) But, I still love that I don't have to pump my own gas!!!

(35,466 posts)He told me in his early adolescence he was fascinated with Max Ernst's painting "The Witch."
It wasn't a painting that did much for me. I was rather more interested in the Beckmann in the same room.
I had no idea about that until he told me as a young man.

(3,857 posts)Incredible paintings they have packed into that small museum. When you walk into the door, you’re greeted by a Basquiat. Then, it gets even better from there. Quite impressive. I bet after the Reno, it will be even better.
