48 years of work, finally coming to fruition.

It was 48 years ago that I joined New Jersey G.A.S.P. (Group Against Smoking Pollution) to end smoking in public places. I wrote letters to politicians and editors. I appeared before town councils and the New Jersey Senate. I attended demonstrations on behalf of casino workers.

In 2016, the N.J. legislature voted to ban smoking in all public spaces except casinos.

Next month, the legislate is scheduled to vote to end smoking in casinos. This time, it looks like the law will pass.

Please write or call your state lawmakers to make this happen. Casino workers don't deserve to work in an ashtray.
