Daily new Covid cases in New Jersey have jumped from September 12 to September 25,...

...from 297 cases per day, to 750 cases per day.

Not good...

My wife keeps talking about things like Christmas and next summer.

I'm not entirely sure I'm going to live that long. I'm clearly high risk, fat, old, borderline diabetic, with type A blood and male.

I think we get our ballots the first week in October. I'm filling out mine immediately and bringing it down to the County Board of Elections. I do hope to see that piece of shit dragged out of the White House if necessary, but failing that, I want to do my part to make it happen.

she's sadly mistaken. And even next summer we're still going to be dealing with this, even if a safe and effective vaccine is available by then. I am truly sorry about your risk conditions. Even though I myself have no such risk factors, other than being 72 years old, my health is excellent, and I'm only somewhat concerned about getting this. However, I don't often leave the house, always wear a mask when in public, and will continue to stay hunkered down for a very long time.

Hang in there.

Her sisters however, act as if everything is normal. They're asking what we're bringing to Thanksgiving dinner.

I do have to go out in the world. I'm still working and my presence is required because a lot of people depend on me.

There are three of us at home; my oldest son still lives with us. All three of us are working.

I never assumed I was immortal, and in a way, an acknowledgement of my mortality has made life all the more beautiful, but I would like to live to see that criminal racist removed from the portals of power in my country, and I would like to see those unscrupulous lying enabling traitors in the Senate gone.

If that happens, I can die in peace if Covid kills me.
