What's up with The Star Ledger these days?

The "quality" of journalism is suspect.

Here are some sample headlines:

Police chief wanted to sleep with my wife and daughter in exchange for a promotion, cop claims

Another N.J. football power humbled out west by elite California program

Off-duty cop punches woman in face and his gun goes off during Jersey Shore fight, prosecutors say

N.J. corrections officer who had sexual relationship with inmate sentenced to probation

The Bergen Record was owned by one family who sold it to Gannet. The paper halved the staff of writers and halved the number of pages published. And the same caliber of journalism as The Star Ledger. And no minimum of free articles per month. It's just not worth it.

They joined a pool of papers to collect and share stories.

The editorial section now sucks. Recent op.ed piece was by the president of a Koch funded organization, "Garden State.." something or other.

Then you have Mulshine. He is right, about once every 70 columns.

Moses don't like it either.
