Woman who pilfered $3M from the job gets years in prison
TRENTON -- A woman who worked for a trucking company with a facility in Branchburg was sentenced Monday to 33 months in prison for stealing millions of dollars from the firm.
Tracey Perrigan, 55, of Sparta, Tenn., was responsible for authorizing fuel and repair purchases by drivers through the "Comchek" system. For more than eight years, from March 2007 to August 2015, Perrigan used her position to divert $3.25 million to another trucking company in Tennessee that she co-owned.
In addition to her prison term, Perrigan must also pay restitution for the amount taken.
