Trump sign from Taj Mahal up for sale on eBay

ATLANTIC CITY — Now that his name is coming down from the former Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort, the new president of the United States is showing up on eBay.

The online auction site carried a listing Saturday under the heading: “Iconic Donald ‘Trump’ Sign from Atlantic City Taj Mahal Casino Entrance.”

By Saturday night, the top bid was $5,300, but the seller started it at $5,000 and had received only three bids. The seller described the item:

“For decades, these Sanskrit-style ‘Trump’ signs greeted visitors at the entryway of Donald Trump’s iconic Trump Taj Mahal. ... Featuring illuminated ruby-red glass in riveted brass casing, they are as much pieces of art as they are pieces of history.
