A look at N.J. governor candidate Wisniewski's tax returns

SAYREVILLE -- Democratic gubernatorial candidate John Wisniewski and his wife made about $462,000 in 2015 and more than $4.6 million over the last 14 years, according to tax returns made public Friday.

Wisniewki, an attorney and member of the state Assembly seeking his party's nomination in this year's race to succeed Republican Gov. Chris Christie, gave reporters a four-hour window to view his yearly tax returns from 2002 to 2015.

The documents show the 54-year-old and his wife, Debbie Wisniewski -- who filed returns jointly -- make most of their income from his private law practice, Wisniewski & Associates, in Sayreville, where the couple also lives. Debbie Wisniewski is an office manager there.

John Wisniewski also makes a yearly salary of $49,000 as a member of the Assembly, the lower house of the New Jersey Legislature.
