Clark County voters raise concerns over mail-in ballot confusion

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — With two weeks until Election Day, Nevada residents have several ways they can cast their votes, including mail-in voting.

However, some Clark County voters have raised concerns over their confusion about the voting process, which they believe could jeopardize their ballots and potentially make their votes ineligible.

“With your mail-in ballot, you kind of have to make sure that you are reading instructions before you start and then follow instructions as you are going through. And then you have to be careful and follow the very important instructions,” said Sondra Cosgrove, executive director of the nonprofit organizationVote Nevada.

With early voting for the 2024 General Election kicking off over the weekend, Cosgrove, who started Vote Nevada to educate voters about elections, says she fears a lack of election and voter education could jeopardize a person's vote and keep them from heading to the polls.
