Another swastika found at UNR's popular graffiti stairwell

The University of Nevada, Reno is again looking into the origin of a swastika drawn on the staircase of the campus's fine arts building.

This is the second time the campus has found the Nazi symbol on the stairwell of the Church Fine Arts building. This time the swastika was drawn over a message in red paint reading, "Make racists afraid again."

UNR officials said that they are reviewing the incident and could not immediately provide a statement.

Known as graffiti stairwell, the spot has been a popular hangout for students over the years to spray-paint graffiti as a creative outlet. In October 2017, the same stairwell was tagged with swastikas alongside a message reading, "Is this political enough?"
