Valley to hold special City Council election by mail in January
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The City of Valley will hold a special City Council election on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026.
The election will be conducted by mail with no polling places open for voting.
The election is being held because residents voted to recall the mayor and city council president in November.
All ballots will be mailed beginning Monday, Dec. 22, 2025 to voters who reside within the City of Valley official boundaries and are registered at their current address. Ballots are mailed in Kraft-colored envelopes measuring approximately 6 inches by 9 inches with a return envelope included.
