Last debate before the election. Mail ballots are mailed out on 10/11, early voting starts around then too. 2/3 of the state use mail in ballots.

(92,665 posts)Is a carpet bagging slimeball, he's had a lot of negative press, actually simply reporting on his failings, and it's not looking as good for him as polls might indicate. They are often wrong about Montana and Tester.
Big strikes against Sheehy:
1) Anti choice
2) Wants to privatize public lands and national parks
3) Hates Indians and immigrants.
4) Failure in his businesses
5) Proven liar and plagiarist.
He only appeals to the newcomers, wealthy rumpers from blue states wanting to turn this into billionaires' paradise where only the rich can afford to be here and the rest of us would be slaves or self deported.

(92,665 posts)An under-the-radar operator and gets a lot done without a shitload of hoopla. And he's a Montana farmer, people know him and aren't favorably impressed with the mess made by the R takeover that happened over the past ten years. I'm hoping we get better presence in the legislature too.
